Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ellie is just 7 months old and is looking for the perfect family. She was supposed to be a hunting beagle but her personality didn’t really suit the hunting type, as she’s a little shy and timid. She loves people and she loves cuddling.
Ellie gets along well it other dogs and is fine around cats. She is gentle and submissive and not particularly high energy. She does well in a crate but will need more work on potty training.
Ellie has been spayed, is up to date on vaccines and deworming, is heartworm negative and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350.

Our adoption process is simple. If you see a pet you like, you can chat with us about your lifestyle and why you are looking for a pet. If we feel its a good fit, we let you come see it. We have a one page adoption contract.

More about this rescue
Working Hounds in the House started as an organization to help retired and decommissioned working hounds find a soft landing after a career in the field. Since starting, we rarely say no to an animal in need if we have the means to safely care for it, so we take many cat and kittens and and recently even rescued a pony!
