My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poppy G incoming to rescue. Poppy G is 5 years old, Corgi, Schnauzer, Yorkshire mix. Poppy loves attention being petted, she would do best in a quiet home, with someone that just wants a cuddle dog, hides from loud noises and hides around too many dogs. Poppy is good on a leash likes short walks. Likes car rides. She is also good with cats, and older children that are quiet. She weighs 28 pounds needs to lose some weight. Poppy G is housetrained, spayed, getting her vaccines updated before adoption. Located in southern Idaho, transport is available within the Pacific northwest to approved home. Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
Adoption only within the northwest.
