If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Daisy was adopted from a shelter where she had been for two years. They did not know her story before that. She’s 4 years old, about 40lb.
A very good, loving and affectionate girl. Choosy with people; she either loves or hates you, and you will know right away.
Does not do well around aggressive people or dogs, but very good with kind people and kids.
She needs security, consistency, affection and exercise. She loves her comforts like blankets, pillows and couches.
Can sleep all day but needs a good workout and space to roam free. Loves long walks and short sprints.
Quiet; she doesn’t bark unless she senses a threat she considers serious.
Her bed, travel crate, including blanket and cushion will go with her.
She is house trained. If she pees indoors she is protesting something.
Commands:
She knows “sit” “come” and “paw” but hasn’t responded to “heel” or “fetch” or “down”.
