Hi there! I'm Katrina, a playful and affectionate four-year-old chihuahua mix. When I first arrived at the shelter, I was pretty scared and took some time to warm up to everyone, but now I love making new friends! I've had a few accidents in my previous home, especially if I'm left alone for too long, but hey, I'm learning. Dogs larger than me are scary, and I like to chase cats, so I need a home without those types of pets. I enjoy meeting other small dogs-just give us some time to get to know each other first! I can be a bit protective of my food, so it's best to separate us during mealtime. Otherwise, I'm a shining star and with love, warmth and patience I know we'll be best friends (especially if you have some yummy soft treats!). Come meet me today!
Medical history: I'm on a bit of medication here at the shelter to help with my anxiety, but otherwise I'm a healthy gal. I can't wait to meet my new vet to help keep me healthy!
