My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sophie is super playful, and easy going. She makes funny noises when playing. She is active but will also cuddle on the sofa. She had children and cats in previous homes. She was returned after almost a year due to a pending divorce. Good size dog, and no major behavior issues. Non-shedding, but will need haircuts unless you like it long.

Sophie is very playful and sweet. she is easy to groom.

She does like to pull stung out of toys. She loves the water.

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review.  We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.  Adoption fee is $300.
