My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smart, affectionate, doing great with potty training, likes other dogs, minimal exposure to cats but did ok for the short time he was around them. Jax is about 4 months old and currently 14 ish pounds as of the end of October. He, his Mom and his 5 siblings were found in a ditch in the pouring rain when the babies were only days old. We'll never know if they were dumped, or Mom sought out a quiet place to give birth prior to the rain starting. Mom was emaciated. We're so grateful for the person who did something and sought help. The family is absolutely delightful ,so good natured and so loving. The puppies are microchipped, have had 2 in the series of 3 DAPP, rabies and bordatella.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process starts with the application. All required fields must be completed in order for your application to be considered. It's important that we place the right dog with the right family. Adopting a pet is a lifetime commitment...please ensure you have considered this commitment before submitting an application. Once all reference checks are completed, you will be notified if your application has been approved. Upon approval of your application, a "meet and greet" is scheduled. All of our rescues are fostered in loving, caring homes until we find the right permanent home for them. Our foster volunteers will contact you to make arrangements to meet your potential new family member. A home visit is required before we will place any of our rescues in a forever home. Upon completion of a successful home visit, an adoption contract is completed. Adoption fees typically range from $175 to $375..

More about this rescue

We are a rescue organization fueled by our love of animals and the wonderful volunteers who support us and give freely of their time and dedication to the rescue efforts.

3 Hearts 4 Paws Animal Rescue was founded with love and passion and is dedicated not only to the lives of those we save, but to the so many lives that are lost. We are a non profit organization comprised of volunteers who give selflessly and open their hearts and their homes, as a stepping stone to the permanent home every rescue animal dreams of. We are not a shelter, each of our rescues are cared for in the warmth of their foster homes, as we help them on their journey waiting for the place they can call their own.

We are primarily a canine rescue, pulling dogs from high kill shelters across the U.S. Our goal is to save as many lives as we possibly can and to bring an awareness to those around us of the pain and suffering that occcurs in puppy mills and the fate that awaits those thrown away to a shelter. PLEASE...Adopt...don't Shop!
