Hey there, everyone! I’m Zoey, a friendly, affectionate, and cuddly Bombay mix gal who is just brimming with cleverness and personality. Bombay mixes are often called Velcro kitties because we like to stick so close to our people. I for one like to lounge close to Foster Meowmy while she's working or watching TV just in case she wants to reach over and pet me. She calls me an “exceptional” kitten because I’m super playful with my twin sister Darla and momma Reeces yet at the same time I’m very loving, sociable, and easygoing with hoomans.
Darla and I are known as the #Beryl-babies because our momma Reeces birthed us during the midst of the hurricane. A nice lady had been feeding Reeces on her apartment's front porch. Lo and behold, the next thing she knew -- there was a litter of kittens on her front porch. She cared for us all but left us outside. Month-old kittens can be curious, and we climbed up into the motor of a neighbor’s car. The neighbor didn’t realize this until she started driving and then heard meowing. Fortunately she stopped and discovered Darla and me under the hood. The nice lady realized that we needed to be safe inside, so she contacted her cat lady friend who’s a HOPE volunteer. Fortunately Foster Meowmy stepped up to the plate to foster my little family.
Now I’m ready to find my forever home. Could that be you? Consider adopting me with my bonded-sister Darla. Although we’re available separately, two’s more fun than one. We think it’d be the cat’s meow if we had a built-in playmate and cuddle buddy while you’re at work or on vacation.

If you are interested in Zoey and would like to fill out an online Cat Adoption Application, please go to http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/cat-adoption.php . Submitting an application does not obligate you to adopt, but it initiates contact with us and gets the process started. If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site this feline will be this week-end, email us at hope@homelesspets.net , and a volunteer will get back to you.
