Meet Canelo! This handsome boy is a 6 year old Siamese Mix that has been living on the streets of San Diego. However, he is not very street smart and a nice indoor home is probably be in his best interest. He is semi-feral but does tolerate some occasional petting. He is also good with other cats. With time and patience, Canelo will most likely more affectionate with people. Submit Application

Adoption applications for our pups and cats can be found using this link: https://www.amazingstraysrescue.org/forms-applications

Interview

If your adoption application is selected as the best fit to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you.

Home Check

After reviewing your application and phone interview, we will conduct a home check.

4.
Meet the Pet

The ASR volunteer will help coordinate a play date between you and the foster so you can meet the pet.

We are a 100% volunteer based rescue and due to the large number of adoption applications we receive, we are unable to respond to each individual applicant. If your application is selected to continue in the adoption process, a volunteer will contact you via the phone number provided on your adoption application.
