Chevy has all the 'best buddy' qualities you could want. A handsome guy with a striking coat, he is all dressed up for a nice polite leash walk with you. He adores people and gives the best affectionate looks. He also loves to get his exercise by running, romping, and playing with doggie pals.

The adoption fee for dogs includes vaccinations (DA2PLP+CV, Bordatella, Rabies) spaying/neutering, heartworm check, deworming, heartworm prevention, flea preventative, and microchip.

The adoption fee for cats includes a full exam (feleck/FIV tested, FVRCP), spaying/ neutering, rabies, deworming, and flea preventative.

If you wish to adopt a pet you will need to fill out an adoption application. You can either pick one up at the shelter or email the shelter to request an application be emailed to you.

The Calhoun County Humane Society, Inc. (dba The Animal Shelter), located in Anniston, Alabama, was established in 1973 as a result of the efforts of Susan Levens Phillips.

Our mission is

**To stop suffering among animals mutilated or injured;
**To educate the public about the tremendous pet over-population facing the United States;
