Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Do you like a big boy? Well you're gonna love GUACAMOLE!
This charming fella was surrendered to us by a local citizen that could no longer care for him. He's clearly been well fed but is now on a strict diet to lose some weight (safely). Our vet recommends a high protein, low carb diet for this big boy - it could be prescription food or regular food as long as you keep an eye on the protein and carb levels.
Guacamole is a friendly boy, but doesn't really love being restrained or picked up. We think with a little time he will get used to humans more. Also losing a little weight could make him more comfortable being picked up! He had an ultrasound to make sure he is healthy on this inside and it came back clear, he's just CHONKY.
Guacamole is up-to-date on vaccinations, tests ____ for FIV/FELV, and has been neutered. If you've got room in your home and your heart for this big friend, please apply at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=meridenhumanesociety&method=online_form_html&formid=28
