My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bailee's basic bio is below, but we maintain more detailed information about each of our animals on our website, which is also always up to date with animals removed immediately once they are adopted. Please visit Bailee's page on our site (https://www.muddypawsrescue.org/adoptable?dog=008115) to learn even more about Bailee!

Additionally, please note that the breed listed for Bailee is just our best guess based on the dog's physical features. We cannot make any guarantees about the accuracy of our guesses.

PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO VOLUME, WE ARE GENERALLY UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INQUIRIES MADE USING THE 'ASK ABOUT ME' BUTTON. Please reach out to us directly using the contact information on our website: www.muddypawsrescue.org.

Bailee may start off a little shy, but with a bit of time and patience, she’ll quickly bond and become a loyal companion. She’s always thrilled to see her favorite humans and has a playful, puppy-like energy that brings a lot of joy. Sometimes, she forgets her size and will happily curl up on your lap or walk on top of you, thinking she's a lap dog.

Living with a couple of foster siblings, Bailee loves to play and is great at respecting boundaries. She's quite a big girl, and and she doesn't quite understand her own size, so sometimes she plays a little too rough with her much smaller foster siblings (~10lbs). But if they let her know they’re not in the mood, she’s quick to back down and give them space.

Bailee is an incredibly quick learner. It appears that she wasn't used to walking on leash at all when she came to us, but after just a couple training sessions, she's now loose-leash walking like a pro. She would do wonderfully in a home with someone interested in continuing her training, as she's definitely a shy and timid girl, but she seems to really gain confidence and security from learning new things.

Bailee is perfectly house-trained and crate-trained as well. She’d probably be happiest in a home with a bigger, playful buddy who can match her energy and keep up with her zest for life. If you’re looking for a smart, affectionate, and eager-to-please friend, Bailee could be the perfect fit for your home!
