My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Hi, my name is Rascal, but my foster parents keep calling me handsome boy!  I am a big hunk of love that just wants to be by my humans and show them love.  I am around 2 years old and 80lbs.  I'm a big boy but have a gentle and sweet soul.

I am crate trained and potty trained.  I don't jump on people and I am not a big counter surfer.  I do like to snatch towels/blankets & socks to play with them, so my foster parents are working with me on what are actually my toys.  Hey, what can I say, I'm easily entertained!

I play well with my foster dog siblings of all sizes...I especially love to wrestle with the foster puppies in my house and gently show them who's boss!

I could make a great hiking / walking buddy or just be a big snuggle bug to keep you warm this winter.  If you think I would make a great addition to your life, please complete an application on our website.  (I can be cat tested if need be.)

I am ready for my forever home now!

Rascal’s Adoption fee is $350 (includes completed wellness exam, age appropriate vaccinations and microchip)

Go meet their pets

Our rescue is foster based, therefore you will need to make an appointment to visit with any of our animals that are available for adoption.
Most of our adoptable animals come from high kill shelters. Occasionally we are given specific breed information on the animals, but more often, we have to make an educated guess as to breed or mixture based on size, color and physical characteristics.
