My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Catnip Cravings, your ultimate snuggle-addict with a taste for mischief! This young lady is the total package, with a cream-colored coat as smooth as whipped cream, a cute pink nose, and eyes like liquid amber. She’s no stranger to human company—actually, everyone is her best friend! She’s a pro at making herself at home, especially if there’s a bed to curl up on or a lap to claim as her own. And let’s just say, she’s got her litter box skills down pat.

Catnip’s personality? Legendary. She’s not shy about her love for a fresh drink right from the sink (she’ll find a faucet if there’s one nearby!) and she’s got a serious soft spot for food… any food, really. Watch your plate, or you might find her sneaking a bite! This social butterfly also has a bit of a wild side, tearing through the house with her zoomies when the kitten energy kicks in. And when she’s not dashing around, you’ll find her watching the world go by through the window.

Ready to let Catnip Cravings crash on your couch and steal your heart? She’s all packed up and waiting for her forever home. Apply to meet her today!
IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.

Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adopt

All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.

ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.

Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transport

We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.November 12, 2024, 8:59 pm

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
