My name is Fenway!

Fenway arrived from the city pound on Oct. 22nd after his legal stray hold was finished. He's an energetic younger guy who appear to be a Jack Russell terrier mixed with maybe some beagle. He's happy and feisty and loves attention. We will have him fully vet checked and neutered soon and his fee is $150.

We think Fenway is around 1-2 years old. He will need some basic training but is smart and ready to learn. He will need consistent exercise to keep him happy and fulfilled. We do think he would do well with kids over 5 years old and maybe dogs of similar size and energy level. He seems to get a little defensive around larger dogs. Cats? We're thinking it's probably a no.

NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
