My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Pumpkin arrived from the city pound on Oct. 27th. Her owner had to give her up as there were too many animals in the home. She appears to be a mix of cattle dog, shepherd, and maybe a few other breeds. She's a petite younger dog at about a year and a half old, tops. She has been vet checked and spayed and her fee is $150.

Pumpkin is a rather shy girl but is really sweet. She has done well with other dogs and older kids but is not a fan of cats. She might need some basic obedience training. She would make a really loyal and loving companion. She's also a fairly athletic dog who does require plenty of exercise.

NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org. Keep an eye on your emails if you apply.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin,  right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
