Introducing Gigi! What's not to love about this darling little 4 pound wiggle butt? She wakes up every morning, happy as can be and full of energy! She loves being carried around and insists she lay her head on you whenever you're sitting nearby. She needs a little time to warm up to new people, but after that she is your best friend! She would love to have another little dog to play with and gets super excited whenever the leash comes out because that means she gets to go on walks. She walks perfectly and loves being outside. She also enjoys lounging in her dog bed where she can dig and hide under all the blankets. She may need a sign saying "don't step here" because she will completely bury herself in the bed. With her being so tiny, she would be best suited in a home with no large dogs or small children that do not understand they may hurt her. She will also require a securely fenced in back yard.
Gigi's adoption fee is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and prevention, plus a free basic obedience training class at Cedar Run #2 in Hiawatha. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor only pets and that adopters have a history of keeping their pets altered and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Our adoption process includes background and reference checks, a vet history check, and a home visit. If you would like to meet Gigi, please fill out an adoption application for consideration on our website, adopthope.org.
