I am a beautiful bulldog bachelor looking for a home where I am cherished and adored. I am just 7 years young, and have so much to offer!
4 years ago my life changed due to a divorce. I went to live with my dad. He decided he didn’t want me any longer after 4 years, and gave me back to my mom. She told rescue that she believes I was living outside. By the looks of me, that seems to be true.
I came into rescue with a HUGE ear hematoma that was neglected for a very long time. It almost swelled my ear shut! My nails were curling under they were so long, and it took 3 baths to scrub the dirt off me. As you can see from my pictures, my nose was SO dry, it was crusting over! Need I go on?? My teeth- oh boy, my teeth. There were several that needed to be pulled, and my breath could knock ya down.
Love-A-Bull Rescue took me to a nice vet who drained my ear, put me on antibiotics and did a dental cleaning on me! WoW! You should see my pearly whites now! I look so amazing!
On top of feeling great, my temperament is just AMAZING. I look to every human as if I am trying to say ‘I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!’ I am good with female dogs, no history with cats, and could live with respectful children who are over the age of 5. I would prefer to be an only dog. I am wanting all of your love and affection! I am just a big ol love, and any home would be lucky to have me as part of their family.
Now, there will be care with me. I am not a ‘turn-key’ bulldog. I will require daily wrinkle cleaning and Vaseline put on my nose daily. I also am on a strict diet to lose a few pounds. I will be required to stay on a premium low calorie dog food so I can get healthy again.
If you are looking for a bully who is going to bless your life with years of happiness, I am your guy! Just promise to please think before applying to adopt any bulldog. We don’t want to end up homeless ever again, so please, commit to love us forever.

*WHY ARE SOME DOG’S ADOPTION FEES HIGHER THAN OTHERS?
The adoption donation fees are based on age, health and needed vet care of the dogs we have taken in. The younger, healthier dogs help to pay for their cousins that need a little more TLC. You adoption donation fee also covers the cost of the spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchip of your new dog.
*CAN WE COME SEE YOUR DOGS?
All of our dogs are in foster homes around the Phoenix area. We require an application to be filled out, a home check to be done, and vet reference check to be complete before having you come meet the dog of your dreams! We will ONLY contact you when we have a potential match.
*I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL DOGS WHO I THINK WOULD FIT MY HOME, BUT THEY ARE NOW ADOPTED. WHY?
We take a lot of time to get to know our dogs in rescue. Some are barkers, which cannot go into condos or apartments, some require companionship of other dogs, and some are not good with children. Each dog is unique!
*IS THERE A WAITING LIST OF APPROVED APPLICANTS?
YES! That is why even if you are not ready to adopt, get your application into us if you want to be considered for a future adoption.
*I AM LOOKING FOR A PUPPY OR VERY YOUNG BULLDOG.
Well, you have come to the wrong place. Rescue dogs on average are between 3 and 7 years old, we do not get puppies into rescue. We would, however, be able to refer you to a reputable breeder.
*BULLDOGS ARE SO EXPENSIVE! WHY?
If you are looking for a cheap bulldog by choosing rescue, need not apply! Rescue dogs are dogs that are going to need ongoing vet care, and a lot of love and training from their new humans. We only adopt to homes that truly want to RESCUE a homeless bulldog. This is not the place to find a “cheaper” bulldog.
