My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Four month old Camille is quite the lover girl when it comes to people. She will come and jump in your lap and rub her face against yours to tell you how much she loves you. And she is vocal, too. I wish we could know what she's saying! Much as she likes people, Camille doesn't relate well to the other foster kittens. She hisses and someimes swats at them. , but has finally come to realize tht they are part of the package. Camille has deep brownish green eyes to go with the interesting markings on her face and fur. She will be a wonderful companion for some lucky person or family.

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. You can also contact us directly regarding a pet seen here and we will set up a time for you to meet them in person. Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
