This stunning Shepherd mix is a happy boy who has been fantastic with the kids in his foster home and he really LOVES hanging out with other dogs too! He’s a quick learner, bath-time friendly, and loves to settle down nearby for a nap when you’re relaxing.
Smokey is a smart & active pup! He is crate-trained, leash-trained, and ready for any outdoor adventure - happily hopping into the car for a ride whenever he gets the chance. He’s mastered commands like “sit,” “wait,” and “fetch,” even catching treats mid-air, and he responds perfectly to “no.” With his love for treats, he picked up training in no time, especially the “wait” command!
Smokey is very much a herding breed dog. His breed mix & instincts make him playful yet gentle, and he has been endlessly patient with all the transitions going on moving into his foster home.
He will need a home that is familiar with the temperament, that is open to doing training, socialization and giving adequate exercise to make him a good canine citizen.
This sweet boy is perfect for any family who would love a loyal, smart and VERY HANDSOME sidekick.
