My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Baby Momma is one of two young cats that may have been dumped and abandoned in my neighborhood. We took her into our home a month from when she started living in our backyard. She was very friendly from day one.

Baby Momma is a sweet, playful, confident, and 9-month curious kitten. She loves to roll to expose her belly while cuddling with you. She’s quiet at night, making her a good sleeper, but vocal while she plays with Marble Boy. She will come to you when you call her. She will also let you pick her up in your arms and kiss her face, like we do. She likes it!

This little lady is so ready for an indoor life with her forever people. Preference will be given to potential adopters committed to keeping Baby Momma as an indoor-only cat, or indoors with access to a catio. She and Marble Boy may be from the same litter. They appear to know each other very well and get along. It would be ideal, though not required, for these two to get adopted together, because they love to play with each other.

Facts at a glance about Baby Momma's health: 1. Healthy. Weighs 8.8 lbs. Vet says to keep her healthy and prevent future diabetes, she needs to lose a little weight. Ideally, she should be closer to 8 lbs, because she is a petite kitty. 2. Tested NEGATIVE for FeLV/FIV. 3. Dewormed. 4. Vaccinated recently. Booster vaccination will be due in a month. Foster parents have her rabies certificate. 5. Spayed. 6. Flea medication was applied to her in mid-September. Re-application is due two months from first application (vet recommendation). 7. She is not microchipped.

Indoor only life, please!  Adoption fee is $50.  Baby Momma and Marble Boy live with their rescuer in Fairview.

Additional adoption info

Adoptable cats and kittens are shown on our website with detailed profiles and pictures. Potential adopters must submit an adoption application for review and evaluation.

We require that adopted cats be mainly indoor cats and no declawing is allowed. Adopters must be over 21 years old and sign a contract that lists out his/her responsibility as the cat's owner.

More about this rescue

Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption.

Why Foster Care? Does your new kitty like children? Does she play with dogs or find other felines too uncomfortable to be around? Does he have consistent litter-box manners? Does he want to cuddle or perhaps his comfort zone is to be more independent. Many life-factors influence cat behavior and while genetics plays a role, we know that human touch, kindness, nurturing and consistency of care are non-negotiable requirements. We provide all of this.
