Diesel and his buddy, Vader, were adored by their family. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected circumstance, their family was not able to continue to keep the boys and had no choice but to rehome them. Saying goodbye is never an easy decision. We knew this was not in the plans for the boys. However, sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. Knowing that Vader and Diesel were incredible boys that deserved to find loving forever families, their family turned to MAGSR for help. We knew Vader and Diesel had been raised by an incredible family that wanted to ensure that they would be safe and loved. We promised to find both boys amazing forever families that would love them for a lifetime.
Diesel is an absolute sweetheart. As an intelligent, stable, and active guy, he is looking for a forever family that will provide him with daily opportunities to exercise both his body and his mind. Having lived with the same family his entire life, Diesel has had the opportunity to develop a strong foundation of social skills. He enjoys handshakes and will, if allowed, give hugs. With some significant changes in his life recently, Diesel has maintained his confident nature. However, it is critical that his forever family provides him with structure, routine, and leadership so that he adjusts appropriately to his forever family. Household expectations are not new to Diesel. He is already housebroken and crate trained. However, as is true of any new dog, he will need time to adjust to the routines and expectations of his new home. Training will be critical to his success. Not only will training help Diesel create a healthy bond with his family, but it will also help him develop the skills needed to become a good canine citizen.
