My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Hey there, hoomans! I’m Roni, the shelter’s very own pepperoni bandit! 🍕 You see, I didn’t just get my name for fun—I was so hungry when I arrived here that I staged a daring heist and snagged some pepperonis right out of an employee's car! Talk about a spicy entrance!

When I’m not plotting my next snack attack, I’m busy perfecting my purr and charming everyone with my adorable antics. I’m looking for a forever home where I can be the reigning queen of pizza parties and cozy cuddles. If you’re ready to share some treats (and maybe a slice or two), come meet me! Let’s make some cheesy memories together! 🐱✨

Additional adoption info

We require an in-person application for all dogs and cats. A home visit will be required for larger dogs, who require a fenced in yard. Our animals are only adopted out after they have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Our adoption fees are $90 for cats and $110+ for dogs. Puppies are $130. Cash, check, credit or debit card are all accepted. Sometimes the fee will be higher for a dog, if it is a purebred. We would like to keep our adoptions local; in the event the adoption does not work out, the animal must come back to us. Adopters must sign an agreement to this effect. We do consider out of state adopters, please phone us before coming. We are a private rescue. Please be patient if we take a little time to respond.

Those adopting a cat must bring a carrier to transport the cat home safely.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)3 organization. Our mission is to rescue homeless as well as owner released cats and dogs, whose owners can no longer care for them due to difficult circumstances. We give these animals a place to live with compassion, dignity and hope as we work to find our cats and dogs new loving homes.
