Rosie is a pup that came to us with brother Rocky back in May. They were rescued from a neglect case with a total if think of 7 dogs. Rosie was in the worst shape out of all of them. She could barely walk and was wobbly and falling over. She also had very little hair / fur and so many lumps/bumps all over and hanging. She came in with such bad skin allergies that were still working on but are much more controlled. She had a really bad ear infection Including some sort of trauma creating the cauliflower ear. So, when she first came in, we had to work on the skin and the ear first before we can do anything else. She was getting medicated baths twice a day. In August she was finally doing much better which allowed us to take her back into the vet for ger dental and then remove her lumps and bumps and have them biopsy. All the results came back good, But trying to allow the stitches to heal was our challenge. Due to all the scar tissue as well the location of one of the stitched area her stitches were not staying sealed. So that part of her healing is going to take a little bit of time. Now our focus is to work on her incontinence issue she has some of the time.
I'm going to share some pictures of when she first came in as well as today and you will see what a difference. We're very.
Thankful for the amazing foster, mom Nora for all that she has done for both Rocky and Rosie.
Rosie is loving her daily walks around the block. Rosie has overcome so much and has come so far, such a survivor??
