My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Named by famed 4 year old Astronomer and Foster Daphne, we present to you - Daphne's Comet! CAUTION: Booplesnoots in your telescope may be smaller than they appear. Don't be fooled, this Comet is a smol boy. Emphasis on Smol. And Boy. He is a rare breed of asteroid we like to call "Forever Baby.

But what he lacks in size, he makes up for in heart. He will orbit around your heart and your snacks. He loves to play with his siblings, explore new galaxies and conquer colonies. But when the excitement settles, this little celestial companion transforms into a professional snuggler. Comet adores curling up beside you, his cuddles are like a cozy blanket of stars. His gentle purring is like the soothing hum of the cosmos.

Will you be the lucky alien to embark on a stellar journey with Comet?

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Daphne's Comet will need to be adopted with a sibling - Meteor Shower or Shooting Star.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
