My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Unit 47 and it's so nice to meet you. If you are looking for a super fluffy and extra snuggly girl stop right here, I'm the perfect kitten for you. My absolute favorite thing in the whole word is to cuddle. Play time, nope, cuddle time! Time to eat, nope, time to cuddle! My foster mother says that I'm the snuggliest kitten she's ever met. That's saying a lot because she's met a ton of kittens. Some of my favorite places to snuggle up are in the sunshine and in laps. I'm not particular, if a lap is open, I'm coming in for a nap. I love to stretch out and have my tummy pet, as well as behind my ears. Those are two of my favorite things.

Although I like to snuggle my foster family a lot, I also like to curl up and get cozy with my sisters. I love them both and would be really grateful to go to a forever home with one of them. Their names are Femputer and Mushu The Whale, please give them a look too!

I don't know about your house but mine can be crazy sometimes and I am perfectly okay with that. My sisters and I live with six resident cats, and a five-year-old corgi who really likes to lick me. I have four human friends as well, and I am great with kids of all ages. Our house is Autism friendly and so am I. I am especially in tune with the emotions of those around me and would love to share that skill with my new family. I hope you come to meet me and my friends. I'd love to snuggle up with you!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Unit 47 will need to be adopted with a sibling - Mushu The Whale or Femputer.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
