My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI, my name is Mushu The Whale, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. If you're looking for a super smart and fluffy little girl, look no further, I'm your perfect match. As you can tell by my photos, I have floof to spare. Trust me, I'm even softer and fuzzier in person.

My foster mom says I'm the perfect all-around cat and I think you'll agree. I love to snuggle and lay in the sun but I'm also super smart and very playful. I also really like to be involved in whatever is going on and will follow my humans around the house. My favorite buddies are my sisters Femputer and Unit 47. The three of us are great playmates, whether we are playing fetch with small toys or cuddling in a big pile, it's always a great time. I would love to go to a forever home with one of them.

I don't know about your house but mine can be crazy sometimes and I am perfectly okay with that. My sisters and I live with six resident cats, and a five-year-old corgi who really likes to lick me. I have four human friends as well, and I am great with kids of all ages. Our house is Autism friendly and so am I. I am especially in tune with the emotions of those around me and would love to share that skill with my new family. I hope you come to meet me and my friends. I'd love to show you how perfect I am!

Kittens need buddies! We require that kittens be adopted with a sibling or go to a home that already has another young companion animal. If you already have a young animal or another kitten in your home, great! If not, Mushu The Whale will need to be adopted with a sibling - Unit 47 or Femputer.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $250.

Note: Kittens must be 10+ weeks old before they can go home.

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
