My name is Jello!

My foster writes:
Jello is the epitome of the happy happy dog song. He trots down the street and looks back with the cutest eyes and smile for reassurance. He also is a budding comic who is close to mastering the art of deadpan. Jello seems to be constantly auditioning for a job. He loves picking up random objects and carrying them around in his mouth. His large personality and charm could fill a room. He would be the perfect dog for someone who is active and eager for adventures, squirrel or tennis watching and an overall good time!

A volunteer writes: Meet Jello, the 72lb white marshmallow who jumped right into my arms, leaned against me, and placed his head right into my hands to be pet. Jello is a silly name for this snowy white boy, with black spots all over his ears, and in fact his real name is Melo! Oversized, sweet, blockheads are my thing, and Jello fits the bill to a tee. At just a year old, we can just imagine how hard a month in kennel has been on him. An affectionate boy missing couch time with his family, and a young boy missing the 3-4 walks a day he got in his previous home. And while he is hanging in there, his frustration is beginning to show and Jello will soon be at risk as a result.

Jello was surrendered due to his owner's health. They decribe him as mostly a lazy couch potato, who loves car rides, walks with a loose leash, and is generally a lazy boy. At the shelter he met an offleash dog and was mostly relaxed, playbowed, and played chase. He tried to mount her, but when she moved away they resumed chase play.
