WINDY is an adorable SMALL dog looking for a home. Don't be fooled by the photos, she may look large in photos but Windy is a petite girl. WIndy is around 1 year old and fully grown at just 20 pounds. Windy and her brother Bolt were found by park rangers after being dumped in a campground. Bolt and Windy survived a very scary situation -- they got too close to a mama bear and her cubs and the mama bear chased them. Thankfully they were quick enough to get away. We can make
some guesses at Windy's breed mix -- we suspect some chihuahua, some pug, maybe a little beagle and dachshund and terrier and heaven only knows what else. She is playful and sweet and friendly, okay with other small dogs and fine with cats. Windy is a medium energy young dog who does love to play and needs a home where she'll get to burn up some of that energy. If you would like to meet Windy please fill out a dog adoption application at
dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Windy at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate.
