Here's what the humans have to say about me:
10/31/24 10:51 Reason animal needs rescue: Kayce needs an adult only home that will work with him on building confidence. In the shelter, Kayce will freeze and is very nervous of sudden movements. Kayce does well with other dogs and would benefit from a dog that can help him build trust and confidence in his people. Type: Behavior Impound type: Stray Additional notes: Kayce shows severe signs of kennel stress and he desperately needs an adopter that will work with him to build confidence and who will give him space to understand his environment. He is currently on behavior support medication but he will stop that once he goes to a home and decompresses.
10/11/24 12:30 Kayce is a young boy who is having a hard time with shelter life. He was brought in as a stray from the Field with Dalton. The Animal Services Officer noted that both dogs were very scared and wanted to stay close to each other. Since he is nervous, he may not catch the attention as some of our other dogs. We are looking for someone that would be willing to open their home to this boy and show him the patience and love he deserves.
