Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Smokey is a 10-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who weighs 55 pounds. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, micro-chipped and ready to go!

Smokey is a great dog who loves to play with other dogs and to be near his people. Smokey seems to be house trained and is working on create training and learning not jumping on you – but he only does this to show his love.

Smokey will be a great friend to take to dog bars, dog parks, or as a running/hiking partner after he is grown and trained. Smokey has not been tested with cats. Based on his temperament he should be good with kids, but remember he is young and energetic.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
