For all you Schnauzer lovers, meet Girlee...She is 7-8 years young miniature Schnauzer and weighs 18 pounds. She came to the rescue when her owner was no longer able to care for her.

She gets along with other dogs as long as they are boys!  She prefers to be the only "Girlee" in the house.  She would also do fine as an only dog and would prefer a home where at least one person is home the majority of the time to keep her company and cuddle on the couch with.

She is every bit a Schnauzer and is as sweet as can be. Girlee is potty trained, crate trained, loves to run around in the backyard, so would do best in a home with a secure fenced yard.

Since we do not know her history with young children, any kids in the home should be at least 12 years old and be of a kind and respectful nature.  Cats would most likely be a no, because of the typical terrier breed prey drive.
