Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Mama Yosephine had a hard start to her life. Not only was she on her own outside the city, she also was living with a nasty paw fracture that did not heal properly. Yosephine picked the best barn to have her kittens as the kind people kept her safe and warm and full of food until she could be taken into foster care. Yosephine will need to have a leg amputation once her kittens are weaned but her life will have far more function and significantly less pain afterwards. She is an utter survivor living a hard life, but somehow that has not affected her personality. She is the sweetest girl who just wants pets and to make squinty eyes at you. She has a hard road ahead but has so much love to share.

Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): leg surgery pending once kittens weaned

More about this rescue

Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
