My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Ramaion was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team on October 23, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Ramaion, a charming senior dog looking for his new home. With his striking chocolate brown coat and distinguished white face, he's not only adorable but also full of character. Ramaion recently came into our care, so we are still getting to know his unique personality. Due to his breed, we can infer that he is likely lively, curious, and has a big personality packed into a small frame. Despite his energetic nature, he enjoys lounging and is content to cuddle up next to you. We have noticed a soft mass on Ramaion's right side that our vet team is currently looking into. He may be playful and affectionate, often forming strong bonds with his humans. Ramaion would thrive in a loving environment where he can receive plenty of attention and care. He probably gets along well with adults and older children, but may be best suited for a home without very young kids or larger pets due to his small size. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a spirited personality, Ramaion could be the match for you! Give this sweet senior a chance to shine in a new home filled with love!.

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. Ramaion is now ready for his new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
