My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Peaches is looking for her new furever home. Being so young, she has already had a rough go with her life. After having 10 puppies (which were re homed by a different rescue), Peaches was then unable to move with her family to their new home. Her family had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to her.

Peaches is a very sweet girl, full of excitement and energy, but at first meet she can be a bit shy and timid. Once she realizes there's no reason to be nervous, Peaches gets really excited and playful. Currently she enjoys jumping all over her favourite people, we are working with teaching her all 4 on the floor manners. She also doesn't quite understand what a leash is, and tends to want to walk in between the handlers legs. In her past home she lived with peacefully with other dogs, children, cats and livestock.

Peaches ideal home would be one that is patient and willing to continue her obedience training. Also once she has obtained some proper training, she would love an active lifestyle.

If you are interested in Peaches, the first step to adoption is filling out the adoption application.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

    Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

    Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

    Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.
