My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow is a 5 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative!

Shadow is a sweet boy that may take a little time to adjust in his new home, however when he does he is a big, friendly, and goofy kitty who provides endless entertainment. Once he has had the chance to get to know you, he will seek out your attention and follow you around until you acknowledge his presence. Although he is a mostly low-key and mellow guy who likes to lounge around the majority of the day, he does get in his goofy moods where his favorite activity is to play with his toy mice by batting them around like an overgrown kitten.

While Shadow is a big teddy bear once he has settled in, he does still get particular at times and prefers to do his own thing. So, he is looking for a home with slightly older children at least 8 years of age or older who can respect his space when needed and learn to read his cues. He currently is living in a wonderful foster home with other cats and even a dog who he gets along with great! So, he shouldn't mind having other furry friends in his new home either given they are introduced slowly and properly.

**Words from Shadow's foster**

"He is doing great! He is very friendly and seeks interaction with us. He loves to play with toys. He does very well with our other cats and dog."
