Meet Kiya! Kiya is a friendly and playful girly with a heart as big as her energy levels! She has a gorgeous black and white coat and currently weighs in at about 48lbs! Kiya enjoys playtime, especially games like tug-of-war! She can get a little mouthy when excited, so ongoing training in her future home will help her refine these skills. Kiya is said to be good with children in her previous home. She's social and eager for attention, always seeking pets and affection from everyone she meets. While she might bark at strangers, it's all in good nature-she's just saying hello and asking for some love. While Kiya is great with humans, she's not a fan of small animals and loves to chase squirrels. She's good with other dogs but requires proper introductions. If you already have a canine companion at home, be sure to bring them to the shelter for a meet and greet with Kiya to make sure they will be compatible canine companions! Kiya is looking for an active family that can match her high energy and provide the attention she deserves. She loves hard chew toys to keep her busy and thrives on a consistent routine. While Kiya enjoys playtime, she's also a great nap buddy! She's a quick learner who already knows commands like "sit," "paw," and "come." Her ideal home would be one where she can continue to play, train, and be loved endlessly. If you're looking for a loyal and energetic companion, Kiya could be the perfect fit for your family!
