My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Winchester is an adorable 1 year old pup looking for adventure! Winchester was adopted in Atlanta and made his journey all the way to Colorado, however his owner's housing changed so he surrendered him to the animal shelter. We fell in love with Winchester immediately, he is a sweet boy that loves to please and is very treat motivated! Winchester lived with another dog in his previous home so he should do well with other friendly dogs and kids. This sweetheart already knows how to sit and walks great on leash! Don't miss out on meeting Mr. Winchester!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
