My name is Meeko!

Hello! My name is Meeko! When my siblings and I first came to Colorado I had this scary sounding auto-immune disorder called Puppy Strangles. Fortunately it was caught early, and wasnt nearly as scary as it sounds. I'm finishing up my course of steroids and am doing really well - so I should get to be adopted and live a normal life in a few weeks. My foster mom thought it would be a good idea though for me to start interviewing some potential new homes in the meantime though.  I am a bit of a handful so would do best with a fairly experienced dog owner that will continue my training and socialization. Another playful and patient dog would be really fun, but I think I could be a single as well as long as I get a lot of doggie playtime throughout the week. Im very smart so will be fun to train. So to recap - an active home that will give me a lot of exercise, attention and training, and another dog would be cool too!

My adoption fee is $400 and I will be neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations for my age prior to adoption
