Meet Rocco!
Hello! I'm Rocco, a big-hearted 6-year-old Olde English Bulldog with a real knack for napping, making new friends, and sniffing out peanut butter! I'm a well-mannered guy-potty trained and quick with my commands-and I get along with everyone, including kids, other dogs, and even cats (as long as they respect my nap schedule!).
I'm a pro at stairs, and while a yard would be a bonus, I'm mostly an indoor kind of guy who's happiest lounging with my people. I do love my walks and handle the leash pretty well, though I can be a bit stubborn (just a touch of personality!). Car rides are a favorite, too!
Here are some fun facts about me: I'm a tug-of-war champion and peanut butter enthusiast. I'm on a special diet that's easy to find, so keeping me healthy and happy is a breeze. Just one small thing-I'm not the biggest fan of ear cleanings, but I'll always forgive you after.

Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
