Jagger and his brother Mick were dumped in the middle of nowhere in rural Oklahoma as older puppies (see video of above) to fend for themselves and to die of starvation or be shot by ranchers or be hit by a car or eaten by coyotes. Luckily someone spotted them and contacted me so I went to go get them.
Both of them are now in a foster home in South Seattle. Mick will be getting adopted by his foster mom but since she already has another dog she cannot adopt Jagger as well even though she would love to. Jagger is the happiest boy and loves everyone he meets. He's been absolutely fantastic with all dogs and goes to all kinds of dog parks with the dog walker every day. He is also great with the foster momma's cats. She would not be able to foster him unless he was 100% great with the kitties. He is a little over a year old now and is ready to find his forever home.
His adoption fee is $550 as the transport from Oklahoma to Washington cost $250 and he is also fully vetted (neutered, microchipped, shots, heartworm tested)
He will be a great addition to any family and his foster momma would love to have playdates and could also dog-sit if needed (schedule permitting) so you get a built-in sitter too!

More about this rescue
Oklahoma Licensed Rescue Number 95
Oklahoma is a bad place for animals. It's the only state that saw an increase in shelter euthanasia rates in 2019. 2020 probably didn't look any different. Strays everywhere, people dumping dogs in the country to fend for themselves, litters of puppies and kittens because people are too cheap or too lazy to fix their pets.
We help these poor souls and find them loving homes in northern states.
