My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Judy Javanese!

Judy Javanese was entrusted to our care through the Final Wish Program after her mom passed away. She is 10 years old and weighs 8 lbs. Judy is super sweet, loves cuddles, and does well with other dogs.

Judy went on a two-week Frosted Fling, and she earned rave reviews for being an easy houseguest, snuggly companion, and all-around good girl!

Her Fling Mom shares:

"We have loved our fling with Judy (we have been calling her Junie or June Bug). She is a sweet ,gentle girl who wants nothing more than to cuddle up next to you on the couch and snooze. She has long legs that make the cutest pitter patter noise as she follows you around the house. Mostly though, she likes to snuggle under cozy blankets.

Judy is not interested in toys or play quite yet, but she enjoys short walks and gets excited when she sees you going toward the door. She took a trip to Home Depot with us and greeted everyone and was so easy. She seems a little nervous in the car but soon settles in for a nap.

Judy eats her soft food without issues. She is completely potty trained and had no accidents. She only needed to be shown once how to use the dog door to come and go and do her business in the yard. No separation anxiety, just sleeps while we are gone and we leave her loose in the house. She sleeps through the night at the foot of our bed cuddled up in soft blankets. We have yet to hear her bark and she occasionally makes a very sweet sign when she is happy.

Judy is very friendly toward everyone she meets. She is okay with kids and would do well with a family, so long as children are dog savvy. She ignores the cat but snarls a bit when he gets too close while she is in her bed. She is also fine with other dogs. She coexisted fine with my rambunctious 1.5 year old dog but does snarl/snap at her if she is approached while she is resting. Overall, she loves her luxuriating cozy time and doesn't want to be disrupted while she is sleeping. She will need a spot where she can feel safe in her bed.

Judy is a super low maintenance and very well behaved pup and she is ready for her forever home!"

Stop by to meet Judy between 10 AM and 3 PM any day of the week. We look forward to your visit!
