Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Mrs. McCave (aka Momma). I started my life in a home with too many other cats. This summer I moved to a foster home around the same time I had five babies! Recently I've been living with my foster family along with two of my babies, Harris Tweed and her brother, Sneepy. Life was serious for a bit when my babies were little but they are getting older so I've been able to start playing with them! They don't always love it though since I'm about twice as big as they are. Obviously I've spent a lot of time around other cats, but I haven't been around any dogs or younger humans.
My favorite toy is my pickle kicker! Sometimes I play with a ball track too, but I mostly like chasing and tackling. I started out pretty quiet and serious but my foster mom thinks I'm getting more relaxed as my babies get older. I like to take naps in lots of places, but my favorite spot is usually on the couch all by myself. I am pretty affectionate and purr easily but I'm not a lap cat and don't really enjoy being picked up. I do really like to check on my foster mom in the middle of the night though. Usually that means I meow to wake her up so she'll talk to me and pet me for a minute then I leave again and go back to bed.
I'm still adjusting to having less animals around and being able to get more attention. I really think I would be lonely on my own so I would prefer a house with another cat especially one closer to my age and size that I could wrestle with. The only thing that really scares me is the vacuum. I love to find new places to explore, especially high shelves, closets that are usually closed, and cabinets. I'm still working on food insecurity, but mostly that means I like to jump up on the counter to see if you've left anything unattended.
Come see me at the Petco in Stillwater at 2080 Market Drive, Stillwater, MN 55082.
Mrs McCave is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
