Meet Jade ~ 0521
My name is Jade. I am an a spayed dilute tortie and cute as a button! I was originally trapped by Animal Control. I gave birth to three kittens one of which was still born. The other two were adopted.

I have been living with my current PAAW foster mom since May. I was very shy at first, not wanting to be touched at all but my foster mom has been working diligently with me for months to earn my trust. I think I trust her now. I let her pet me now and never intentionally scratch or bite her. I don’t particularly like being picked up but I will come when my foster mom calls me and wait patiently for my head rub. If I have to wait too long, I will gently put a paw on her leg reminding her that I am still waiting! I also enjoy playing with my toys and love to roll on the floor!

I am still shy and quiet but I have made steady progress with my foster mom. I would really like to be in a home with another gentle, non-aggressive cat. I tried to make friends with my foster mom’s cats but they just weren’t interested. It would be nice to have another kitty to play with.

Please consider adding me to your family. I just need a patient owner who can help continue to bring me out of my shell and will accept me for who I am. If you can do that I won’t disappoint you. I can’t wait to meet you!

To apply to adopt one of our pets, please complete our online adoption evaluation form. We will respond to your inquiry promptly. Our adoption fees for cats includes Feluk/FIV combo test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Our adoption fees for dogs includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Spay/neuter deposit fees apply on any animals too young to be altered at the time of adoption, and the deposit is returned upon proof of spay/neuter.
We adopt to homes within a 2 hour driving range of MetroDetroit.
