My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Keeeevvvvvviiiiiiinnnnnn! This fiery little red head is how the litter of teddy bears earned their names. The McAllisters, from Home Alone. He’s not quite the mischievous character depicted in the film BUT he sure is curious and likes to get into things. Kevinn entered an under-funded shelter in Texas with his littermates as a young pup. They traveled to CO in hopes of finding their forever homes. He joined a foster home with kiddos, dogs, and cats and he’s thriving. Kevin is presently around 3 lbs. We believe he is a shih-tzu mix, however, neither parent entered the shelter with him so we can’t be sure.

Kevin is being fostered in Mead, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *

Mile High Canine Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3, Colorado non-profit organization established in 2019. We are 100% volunteer run and foster home based. MHCR aims to provide abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs a loving home to grow and learn in until a suitable forever home is found.
