Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Midnight is a delicate hearted little girl who will melt your heart with her gentle nature. She is very shy at first, taking her time to get comfortable with new people and in new surroundings. But her sweetness shines through once she feels safe and secure. She is around 3 years old and about 20 lbs. Midnight would do best in a calm and patient environment where she can come out of her shell at her own pace. She loves to cuddle and enjoys the quiet company of humans. With a lot of love and patience, Midnight will show you nothing but unconditional love back and will form an unbreakable bond with that perfect human. If you are ok going slow and giving a little bit of extra TLC, Midnight is waiting to meet you! She has done ok with other dogs, but will need some time to warm up to them. Give us a call if you would like to meet her.

Here at the Red Desert Humane Society we strive to place pets in the best homes possible. We ask that you fill out an adoption application prior to meeting our animals. One can be emailed to you.
Once we receive your application we will review your application. During this process we will make calls to Landlords (if applicable). As well as your veterinarian that has provided care for your past or present pets.
We ask that you provide photos of your current residence where the dog will be living.
Once this is complete we ask that your bring your current animals (if any) to the shelter to meet your potential new pet as to prevent any possible problems once you get home.
If all of this goes well and you are approved we will then have you sign our adoption contract as well as pay the adoption fee.
Please call for our adoption fees or any other information.

More about this shelter
The Red Desert Humane Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to the placement of previously homeless animals in new, loving environments.
We alter and vaccinate all animals prior to placement, and screen all applicants to ensure a lifelong match between people and pets. We also educate the community about the importance of spaying and neutering pets, proper pet care, and animal welfare. We place dogs and cats in loving, forever homes!
