Meet Lego, the little adventurer with a heart as big as his ears! This sweet beagle/terrier mix was found wandering the streets, bearing an old leg injury and a tough skin condition, but he’s come a long way and has a bright future ahead. Thanks to lots of love and care, Lego’s skin has healed beautifully, and now he’s finally strong enough for an amputation to make him even more comfortable (which SNARR will fully cover for his lucky adopter!).

Lego’s personality? Pure sweetness! He’s got a gentle, loving spirit and gets along great with other dogs. Whether he’s curled up beside you or playing with new pup friends, he brings a little sunshine everywhere he goes. He’s ready to find his forever family—could that be you?

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
