Mama Marsh was found as a stray on the streets of Chicago and eventually found herself inside a crowded shelter, where she gave birth to her kittens. Sadly, a crowded shelter is no place for a tiny family, and a few of her kittens didn't make it. Luckily, we had a foster step up for this family and we were able to bring Marsh and her two remaining babies, Jet and Puff into the SAYv family. They may have had a rough start, but this trio has gotten the best TLC and are now ready to find their forever homes.
Marsh is a quiet, laid back lady that is ready to enjoy the finer things in life. She's a little timid at first - still getting used to life on the inside - but with a little patience, this sweet girl will reward you ten times over. She warms up quickly, and definitely enjoys a warm lap to relax on. She's an uncomplicated girl, who is easily pleased with good food, ear scratches and a relaxing evening on the couch.

We do not have a brick-and-mortar location, all animals are in foster homes so meeting them isn’t possible. We can make video calls between our fosters and potential adopters before signing the adoption agreement.

SAYv Animal Organization is a startup animal welfare organization focused on gettings things done.
We have 2 permanent programs running right now, with the objective to increase our manpower and reach to create new programs including farm animals.
Solutions: We help other nonprofit organizations create and execute life-saving solutions and provide support for critical operational initiatives.
Rescue: We have officially started our rescue efforts!!
Unfortunately, since we are a start-up organization with limited funds we have to focus on perceived "easier" cases whenever we can, JUST UNTIL we get a solid financial base and network. We fully intend to help open-admission shelters save ALL at-risk animals, including the hard cases.
