My story

Penny is a sweet and energetic dog. I would still consider her a puppy at 1.5 yrs old.
Penny came to us from a previous home where the owner wanted to "get rid of her" if no one took her.
Penny is very smart and very treat motivated. She does need some training and time to shape her into the perfect dog.
Ideally Penny would be a perfect dog for someone with a lot of space for her to run to release that pent up energy. She would be a perfect hunting dog and is very interested in small animals, so a cat in the house would not be recommended.
Penny is crate trained, and can go most of the day without making a mess. She has free range of our garage and has left things a lone so far.
She has never been on a leash, but we are working on that and she is learning fast. She just really loves the squirrels and will pull.
If you are looking for a hunting buddy or someone to go on an adventure with you, Penny is your girl.
