Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Francie is a sweet little schnoodle, about 2 years old and 14 pounds. This poor girl was brought to the shelter by someone who found her, severely matted, covered in foxtails and other debris, and she had fishing line wrapped around her legs and feet. The shelter had no choice but to totally shave her down. But once her soft, beautiful non-shedding hair grows back, she will be stunning!
Francie is amazingly loving and playful for all that she's been through. She bonds quickly with her human, and just wants to be wherever you are. She loves to snuggle and give kisses. She likes walks, and rides great in the car.
She's doing really well with housetraining, but she could use some training in manners -- she wants attention and will jump up on people, and she also wants to eat everyone else's food and treats. This is understandable, since she was a stray and had to fend for herself on the streets. But she's very smart, and motivated by food and praise, so training should be easy. :)
Francie mostly just wants to be with her human. She's up for playing, but is also content to be a couch potato, if that's what you want to do. She just wants to be near you, and she loves belly rubs and wants to give gentle doggie kisses. This sweet girl is so grateful for a second chance.
If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting Francie, the first step is to submit an adoption application. Please go to our website www.k9bestfriendsforever.com and click on "Adopt" which will take you to our online application form.
