My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

So you’re finally here. We’ve been waiting for you. Please meet the wonderfully fabulous pocket pittie we call FIONA. You’re just going to love her. Fiona is 4 years old and 56 lbs of fabulous joy. She LOVES DOGS & PEOPLE, is affectionate, and the best at cuddling when you watch a movie. She’s perfect for apartment living because she is super quiet and never barks, not even when you leave for work. She doesn’t get stressed or chew things up! She’s CRATE TRAINED, potty trained, is SUPER EASY to WALK on leash, and she doesn’t even react to dogs who bark at her. Fiona is a dog you can take out to busy places like the Irvine Spectrum, and she loves a good car ride, too! She LOVES to PLAY and go for walks. She loves playing with toys, or fetching her squeaky toy. She’s got a puppy-like nature, full of silliness, and yet she’s the dog who’ll take a stroll with you, look up with her smiling eyes, and just smile as she takes in the view on long walk at the park. Fiona loves to calmly lay up next to you while you pet her. She’s truly comforting and has the softest head and ears. So there you have it. Now you know how fabulous she is, so get your application in today!

More about this rescue

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
